QAS On Demand, on YouTube
If you missed the March 1 live hosted QAS show, you still have until April 30 to see all of our 2022 presentations. True, the Opening Night audience of over 150 attendees took advantage of the Live Chat feature to engage our speakers in lively back and forth messaging. Still, you can read new comments coming in since QAS On Demand started on March 2. Add your own comments and hopefully, give the video a thumbs up!
The On Demand videos still contain all the tips, tricks, and tall tales that you expect from a Quiet Adventures Symposium. The full playlist has 24 presentations for a total of over 16 hours of programming.
If you come away with just one good idea that keeps you safe, makes your trip more fun or leads you to a new, favorite place, it was worth the time and expense to attend QAS. I already have one good idea that will take me to Ontario’s French River this summer, right after I purchase my revised copy of Kevin Callan’s guidebook!
Cliff Jacobson has been sharing Camping’s Top Secrets since 1998, when his book was first published. In fact, he has been sharing his outdoor expertise since 1974, because outdoor skills need to be passed on not kept as secrets. Since 1996, the Quiet Water Society has worked to get the word out about how non-motorized, outdoor recreation is safe, fun, and a way to create memories of people and places that can last a lifetime. Getting outdoors is one of those good ideas that is discovered by each generation. Pass it along.

QUICK LINKS
To keep the adventure going, the Board of the Quiet Water Society needs new members to fill four vacancies. Staging a live event with over 150 exhibitors, 33 presentations, and as many as 2,000 paying attendees can only succeed when many lend a hand. Your help will be needed in order to return QAS to the MSU Pavilion in 2023.
If you can help, contact the Quiet Water Society at Info@quietwatersociety.org. There are big shoes to fill but then again, it might be a perfect fit.
See you on the water,
Gary De Kock
